Jack Scott

Jack Scott began their career in 2014 as a Software Engineer at Civica. Jack then joined Play Sports Network in 2017 as a Software Developer and was promoted to Technical Lead in 2020. Most recently, they joined Moneyhub Enterprise as a Software Development Team Lead. During their time at Play Sports Network, Jack gained experience in a variety of web technologies and data pipelines, including Node js, Angular, React, MongoDB, Kubernetes, CircleCI, and Go. At Civica, they developed a basis in object-oriented enterprise programming. At Moneyhub, they are responsible for developing ISO 27001 certified software for Open Banking, Open Finance, and Open Data applications.

Jack Scott completed their GCSEs at Kings School Bruton from 2006 to 2009. Jack then went on to complete their A levels at Farnborough 6th Form College from 2008 to 2010, studying Maths, Physics, Photography and Further Maths. Finally, they obtained an MEng Aeronautical Engineering degree at the University of Bristol from 2010 to 2014, specializing in Aeronautics. Additionally, Jack Scott has obtained several certifications, including Duolingo French Fluency: Advanced (Estimated) from Duolingo in August 2015, and Automated ASP.NET MVC Testing: End to End, C# Fundamentals with C# 5.0, Clean Code: Writing Code for Humans, Encapsulation and SOLID, and Introduction to SQL from Pluralsight.
