MoneySmart Group is South East Asia's leading personal financial portal helping consumers compare loans, insurance, and credit cards. MoneySmart was founded in 2009 with the simple aim to help consumers make better financial decisions. 

We are growing and we’re looking for exceptional talent to come onboard to lead our Marketing team as a Head of Marketing, Marketplace based in Singapore. 

Mission

Your mission is to grow MoneySmart’s brand, acquisition and retention strategies across every platform, channel and partner in each of MoneySmart’s markets. Your role is to be customer-centric, think data-first and collaborate with strategic functions across the organisation to scale cost efficient reach, awareness, conversions and retention opportunities, which will drive overall contribution to our top line revenue growth.

You will be responsible for identifying and exploring new and novel ways to reach our audience on new platforms and through new mediums. You will also be responsible for recruiting and mentoring a team that can execute market-leading omni-channel campaigns across Organic, Performance, Brand, Design, CRM, Social and Content Marketing.

This role will be reporting into the Group General Manager, Marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Sets the overarching marketing strategy aligned to the business strategy that provides direction, identifies growth opportunities and builds functional capabilities that scales operations to deliver on business outcomes
  • Responsible for marketing excellence and ensuring we achieve our financial/demand generation targets in the most customer centric and cost effective manner
  • Responsible for the overall marketplace marketing P&L, investments and synergy across Organic, Acquisition, Content, Design and Retention marketing functions for both markets
  • Responsible for hiring and leading the marketing team and providing mentorship and coaching on healthy team dynamics, management styles and development pathways
  • Establishes an innovation agenda and roadmap for the marketing org to seize growth opportunities, increase operational efficiencies, enhance customer value, mitigate future risks and reduce costs
  • Master a deep understanding of our Customer Data Platform and 1st party data capabilities for segmentation, targeting and activation
  • Develop a strong and robust understanding of our customer base; their needs and behaviours, leveraging our Data Analytics, Audience Segmentation and Customer Insight capabilities to achieve our customer retention and product marketing goals
  • Partner with Product and Tech teams to develop growth strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention and strategic outcomes
  • Responsible for stakeholder management and engagement with the EXCO, leadership team and functional managers
  • Identifying emerging opportunities or trends that could impact the business, exploring partnerships and collaboration opportunities and defining the positioning of the brand to navigate successfully through the evolving marketing landscape
  • Serve a key role on the executive team in shaping overall business strategy

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the digital space
  • Experienced in leading and developing multi-functional teams
  • Proven success in devising and deploying multi-functional marketing strategy
  • Strong proven track record in acquisition marketing - strong organic and performance marketing background
  • Strong background in growth and product marketing skills 
  • Strong leadership skills and people management experience across multiple levels
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with C-suite, stakeholders, other leaders and cross functional teams
  • Multi-market experience is a plus
