Prateek

Prateek is the current Head of Architecture at MoneySmart. Prior to that, they were a Technical Lead at ThoughtWorks Products from May 2016 to July 2019. There, they designed and built a Microsoft Azure elastic plugin that supports dynamic provisioning and managing virtual machines for running jobs on GoCD, an open source continuous delivery server. Prateek was also the technical lead on a large scale SaaS based product in the project management space, designed and implemented multiple features end to end, designed data export feature to handle large data export from the tool, led the ruby upgrade of a large rails application, led a strangulation approach to upgrade a rails app from version 2 to 5 while keeping both running in production, moved the product from San Francisco to Bangalore and on boarded a completely new development team. Additionally, they designed and built serverless applications on AWS for integration with Slack and setup multiple continuous delivery pipeline deploying applications to AWS. Prior to their time at ThoughtWorks Products, Prateek was an Application Developer at ThoughtWorks from August 2012 to May 2016.

Prateek has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from RV College Of Engineering and a degree from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College.
