Mike Dugas

Mike Dugas has extensive work experience in risk management, analytics, and finance. Mike currently serves as the Chief Risk and Analytics Officer at Moneytree. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at Data Distillers. In 2018, Dugas co-founded Everly.Market, an online marketplace that connects merchants and finance companies to provide financing options to customers. Mike also held the position of SVP of Predictive Modeling at Bank of America. Dugas has a background in decision science, having served as the Director of Decision Science at VisitPay. In 2012, they co-founded and served as CEO of Credda, a company specializing in lease origination. Before that, they worked as an independent consultant for various consumer finance companies, building credit scoring models and informing business strategies. Dugas gained experience in credit risk analysis as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst at USAA and as the Director of Analytics at Frascella Enterprises. Mike also worked as the Sr. Director of Analysis at American Credit Acceptance, where they built credit scoring models and led a team responsible for portfolio growth.

Mike Dugas has a strong education background in the field of Statistics. Mike earned their Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics from the University of Florida, completing their studies from 1998 to 2000. Following this, they pursued further academic achievements and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Statistics from the University of California, Davis, studying there from 2000 to 2005.
