David Cerasoli

David Cerasoli has a diverse work experience in the field of security engineering and management. David is currently working at MongoDB as the Director of Security Engineering. Prior to that, they were the Security Liaison Manager at MongoDB. Before joining MongoDB, David worked at the Northeast Power Coordinating Council, Inc. where they held various roles including Acting Director of Mitigation, Manager of CIP Audits, Senior CIP Auditor, Senior CIP Analyst, and CIP Analyst. David also has experience working at the New York Power Authority as a Security Analyst and Desktop Support Analyst. David's career spans from 2005 to the present.

David Cerasoli holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems from Pace University. David also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems from the same university. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the GIAC Public Cloud Security (GPCS) certification from the SANS Institute in March 2022 and the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification in September 2020, also from the SANS Institute.
