Geert Bosch

Geert Bosch has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Geert started their career in 1995 as the Owner/Consultant/Software Engineer at Bosch Software & Services. From 1997 to 1999, Geert worked as a Software Engineer at ACT Europe, where they were responsible for porting GNAT Pro products to VxWorks/MIPS and Windows NT. Geert also created and delivered Ada courses during their time there. In 1999, Geert joined AdaCore as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on product management and technical leadership for GNAT Pro products for bareboard systems. Geert contributed to the standardization and implementation of Ada 2012. After leaving AdaCore in 2014, Geert joined MongoDB as a Senior Software Engineer, later becoming the Lead Software Engineer and currently serving as the Director of Engineering since May 2021.

Geert Bosch completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Twente, between the years 1990 and 1995. Geert then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from New York University, from 1999 to 2003. Prior to their university studies, Geert attended Marnix College from 1984 to 1990, although no degree or field of study was specified.
