Jason Chan

Jason Chan has a diverse work experience. Jason began their career as a Software Developer Intern at Demonware in 2016 and 2017. Jason also worked as a C++ Developer Intern at AppNeta in 2015. Additionally, they served as an Undergrad Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia for courses in Data Structures and Algorithms and Software Construction in 2015 and 2016. Jason then joined MongoDB, where they held multiple roles. Jason started as a Software Engineer in 2018 and was promoted to Senior Software Engineer in 2021. Currently, they serve as a Lead Engineer at MongoDB, a position they have held since June 2022.

From 2013 to 2018, Jason Chan attended The University of British Columbia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
