Tyler Kaye

Tyler Kaye's work experience includes the following roles:

- Lead Software Engineer at MongoDB since November 2017, with ongoing tenure.

- Software Engineering Intern at MongoDB in July 2017 - August 2017. During this internship, Tyler worked on the Platforms Server team, gaining experience in the core Mongo Database and its application in a production environment. Their main project was the Mongo Mobile project, which involved integrating the client-server architecture into an embedded process.

- Software Architecture Intern at MasterCard in June 2016 - August 2016. Here, Tyler had the opportunity to learn about the payments industry, particularly digital payment processes such as MasterPass. They also gained insights into the complex relationships between banks and consumers within the payments industry.

- Implementation Intern at Ghostery, Inc. in 2014. This experience provided Tyler with a chance to understand how small internet start-ups operate. They worked with Ghostery's platform, which involved collecting and manipulating large amounts of data using SQL and complex database requests.

- Bronfman Youth Fellow at the Bronfman Youth Fellowship in July 2013 - August 2013. This fellowship involved a scholarship-funded trip to Israel, where Tyler engaged in intensive text study, discussions, and debates centered around pluralism. They were exposed to diverse perspectives from other fellows and guest speakers.

Tyler Kaye attended Rye Country Day School from 2001 to 2014, where they earned their High School Diploma. During their time there, they studied subjects such as Calculus, Game Design, Web Design, Computer Science, Physics, and Chemistry. Tyler then went on to Princeton University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Tyler'smajor was in Computer Science, and they also pursued a Certificate in Engineering Management Systems and Machine Learning. Additionally, in 2015, Tyler completed a Web Development Bootcamp at iXperience, specializing as an iX Rails Developer with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
