Sydney Penman has a strong background in operations management, with a focus on project management and client coordination. They began their career at ilovetravel, starting as a Sales and Customer Support Specialist for Breakaway Tours in 2011, then progressed to become an Operations Coordinator for the same company from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they held the role of Operations Manager for Breakaway Tours. They later worked as an Operations Manager at Moniker from 2018 to 2021, where they were responsible for overseeing multiple clients and managing project timelines. In 2021, they transitioned within Moniker to become the Director of Operations.
Sydney Penman holds a Certificate in Social Media Marketing from George Brown College, obtained in 2013, as well as a Diploma in Special Event Planning from the same institution, obtained from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Sydney Penman has obtained various certifications including Certified Facilitator - Bringing in the Bystander from the Prevention Innovations Research Center in 2017, Mental Health First Aid from Mental Health First Aid Canada (MHFA), TICO from the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (Ontario's Travel Regulator) in 2011, and Smart Serve from Smart Serve Ontario in 2009.
