Alan Young

Alan Young is a Design Engineer at Monmouth Scientific Limited since October 2017, specializing in tailored design solutions for clean air applications. Prior experience includes roles as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Cantel Medical, focusing on infection prevention technologies, and as a Mechanical Designer at Edwards, where contributions were made to systems used in the semiconductor industry. Alan's earlier positions involved designing data storage systems at Quantum and creating air-conditioning and filtration solutions at Booyco Engineering. Initial experience as a Draughtsman at Falpon Hydraulics involved designing hydraulic cylinders. Alan holds a National Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Benoni Technical College and is currently pursuing further education at The Open University.
