Calvin Chu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Calvin started their career in 2007 as a Product Engineering at Bend All Automotive. Calvin then worked as a Quality Control Engineering at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada in 2008. In 2009, they worked as a Product Testing for mapping and GIS at Trimble Navigation before transitioning to Field Validation in land surveying at the same company in 2010. Calvin also had a brief stint in Research and Development at Spartan Bioscience in 2010. Calvin joined Apple in 2011 as part of the iPhone Location Testing team for a few months. Calvin then worked at Trimble Navigation again in 2012, this time in Research and Development for land surveying. In 2013, they founded Monogram Creative Console and assumed the role of CEO. Calvin also participated in the HAX Accelerator program in the same year. Calvin's last known work experience was in 2015 as an Alumnus at Creative Destruction Lab.
Calvin Chu attended William Lyon Mackenzie C.I. from 2002 to 2006, although no degree or field of study is specified during this time. From 2006 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
