Lead Core Technology Transfer Engineer at Monolith

Kelsey Gold has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kelsey is currently working at Monolith as a Lead Core Technology Transfer Engineer since September 2022. Additionally, they collaborated with a diverse team to devise solutions for processing challenging feed stocks. Following this, they worked as a Process Engineer from November 2012 to July 2017. In this role, they monitored daily performance and troubleshooting of various process units, while also developing projects to improve process optimization and efficiency.

Prior to their roles at Philadelphia Energy Solutions, Kelsey worked at Ashland, Inc. as a Production Engineer from August 2010 to November 2012. Here, they monitored and troubleshooted a multi-reactor batch process to ensure product quality and quantity. Kelsey also led a team of hourly employees to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.

Kelsey's earlier experiences include working as an Undergraduate Biodiesel Researcher at Drexel University Biofuels Lab in 2010, a Process Engineering Co-op at Valero Energy Corporation from September 2008 to March 2009, a Drug Development and Research Co-op at Aprecia Pharmaceuticals from September 2007 to March 2008, and an Undergraduate Assistant at Drexel University Fuel Cell Lab in 2007. Kelsey also worked as a Functional Products Co-op at Cognis Corporation from September 2006 to March 2007.

Kelsey Gold earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University, studying from 2005 to 2010.
