Spencer (Yoonho) Kim

Spencer (Yoonho) Kim has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Spencer (Yoonho) is currently the Co-founder and Head of Operations at Monoly, where they are involved in reinventing enterprise communication and collaboration through the use of blockchain technology. Spencer (Yoonho) is also a Co-founder and Head of Product and Research at Monoly, responsible for ensuring the company's products are innovative and aligned with customer needs.

Prior to joining Monoly, Spencer worked at the Korea Development Institute (KDI) as a Sr. Research Associate. During their time at KDI, they played a key role in establishing the think tank and contributed to formulating its master, operational, and financial plans. Spencer (Yoonho) also managed research and capacity building activities in Myanmar and collaborated with various stakeholders for policy research and development.

Spencer also worked as a Project Coordinator at the Myanmar Development Institute (MDI), where they were involved in establishing and operating the government think tank. Spencer (Yoonho) coordinated with Korean agencies, Myanmar Union Ministries, and international donor agencies for joint research projects, capacity building programs, and promoting the institute.

Additionally, Spencer gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance, where they focused on mapping clean energy in China and analyzing capital flows within the clean energy industry.

Spencer (Yoonho) also worked as an Independent Consultant at TerraPower LLC, a next-generation nuclear reactor design startup chaired by Bill Gates. In this role, they built an analytical framework and assessment methodology for evaluating partnership opportunities between TerraPower and China, specifically regarding licensing, siting, and commercializing TerraPower's core technology.

Spencer's early work experience includes a research internship at UNDP, where they contributed to climate change and sustainable land management projects in Pacific Island Countries. Spencer (Yoonho) also served as an Air Intelligence Officer in the Republic of Korea Air Force.
