Amala Krishnan

Amala Krishnan currently serves as Director of Strategy & Corporate Development at Monotype, starting February 2024, in a portfolio company of HGGC. Prior to this position, Amala held the role of Manager of Corporate Development at Adobe from August 2022 to February 2024, focusing on M&A and Ventures, and completed an MBA internship in the same field in 2021. Amala has extensive experience in the finance sector as a Private Equity Associate at L Catterton from July 2018 to July 2020 and as an Investment Banking Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from June 2015 to June 2018, following a summer analyst role in 2014. Earlier experience includes positions as a summer analyst at Fredericks Michael & Co. and a summer intern at Ernst & Young. Amala holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Finance and Statistics from The Wharton School.
