Emrah Kazan

Emrah Kazan, Ph.D., serves as an Associate Professor at Monroe County Community College since January 2022, previously contributing as a Senior Lecturer at Wayne State University from May 2003 to May 2022. Emrah conducted extensive research in construction engineering and management, focusing on occupational safety and health, building information modeling, and the integration of technology into the construction industry. Emrah's experience includes serving as program coordinator for the Construction Management Graduate Program, managing research grants, and teaching various graduate and undergraduate courses. Further professional experience includes roles as a Project Engineer at Detroit Contracting, Inc., overseeing educational and commercial projects, and as a Project Control Engineer at Gama Construction Co. Emrah holds both a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management from Wayne State University.
