Cassandra Martin has a diverse work experience in the field of education and child development. Cassandra started their career as an Outreach Leader for Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan in 2013. Cassandra then worked as an Ambassador for Barefoot Books in 2014. In the same year, they also worked as an Assistant Teacher at Creative Beginnings Child Development Center. In 2015, Cassandra had a role as a Student Teacher at Central Michigan University Child Development & Learning Laboratory. Cassandra later became a Preschool Teacher at Gretchen's House in 2015. The following year, Cassandra worked as a Three-year-old Child Care Lead Teacher at St. Michael's Catholic School. Their most recent role was as a Head Start Teacher at Monroe County Intermediate School District starting in 2017.
Cassandra Martin holds a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University-St. Paul, which they earned in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Early Childhood Development and Learning from Central Michigan University, which they completed between 2011 and 2015.
