Chunhui Zhang

Chunhui Zhang serves as the Vice President of Research and Development for Data Center Computing at Montage Technology, Inc. since October 2019. Previously, Chunhui held the position of Director of Architecture at HYGON/AMD-JV from February 2017 to September 2019, following a significant tenure at Intel Corporation from November 2005 to January 2017 as CPU Architect and earlier as CPU Designer and Micro-Architect. In these roles at Intel, Chunhui contributed to the definition of Hetero-CPU and future x86 CPU architectures and led the Core uArch team responsible for Intel's first Xeon Phi many-core product. Additionally, Chunhui served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Portland State University in 2014. Academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Irvine and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
