David Mabb

David works with property owners, promoters and/or developers who have a need to enhance or crystallise the value of their interests through the planning process for both public and private sector clients.

This is achieved by working collaboratively with clients from the outset of the project to understand their aspirations so that an appropriate planning strategy can be identified that delivers a viable and implementable solution. David’s role is both as a member of a wider design team and project manager for the planning process to provide the client with planning and development advice which balances planning risk against programme and financial pressures.

He has been involved in a wide range of instructions, predominately across London and the home counties, each with their own unique challenges. Recent instructions include estate regeneration, land promotion, previously developed land, complex green belt sites, permitted development, residential led mixed-use developments, listed buildings, CIL and public and private sector joint ventures.

David is also advising a number of local authorities on the development potential of their own assets and devising suitable planning strategies to realise their potential.
