Alex Laihsu

Alex Laihsu is a Scientist at Montara Therapeutics, Inc., starting in January 2024, with prior experience as a Senior Research Associate at Gordian Biotechnology and in various research roles focusing on pharmacokinetics and therapeutic applications of small molecules for diseases such as Parkinson's and diabetes. Previous positions include Associate Scientist at Mitokinin Inc., where efforts targeted PINK1 small molecule activators, and Senior Research Associate at Achaogen, responsible for developing in vivo studies for antibacterial and vascular integrity assessments. Alex's research experience is complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Toxicology from the University of California, Berkeley, and an International Baccalaureate.
