Angus MacDonald

Angus MacDonald is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the hospitality and finance sectors. Currently serving as a Partner at Phoenix Capital Partners and CFO at Monte Alto Solutions since May 2018, Angus has previously held the position of Head of Development Strategy at glh Hotels from July 2014 to April 2018, and Finance Director at Thistle Hotels from October 2012 to June 2014. Before these roles, Angus worked as Commercial Director at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels and Group Finance Director at City Inn/Mint Hotels. Early career experience includes a tenure at EY in Audit and Corporate Finance. Angus holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Edinburgh and multiple postgraduate diplomas from the University of Strathclyde in Accounting and Business Information Technology Systems.
