Dana Arvig

Dana Arvig has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dana is currently working as an author for Dana Arvig, Author, where they recently wrote a book titled "Common Courtesy in an Uncommon World". Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Operations & Advertising/Community Affairs Manager for Monterey Herald. Dana also held the position of Advertising Director at the same company. Before that, Dana served as the Vice President Western Regional Sales at Harvest Blade and Supply, Inc., where they were responsible for reshaping blades for food processors. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Client Service at Moxxy Marketing and held leadership positions such as Interim Publisher/VP of Advertising and VP of Advertising at Mainstreet Media Group. Dana started their career as the Director of Sales & Marketing for Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK. Dana also has experience in real estate and construction management as a Project Manager/Leasing Agent at Shaw Development Company.

Dana Arvig's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Social Impact / Diversity & Inclusion from the American College of Education, which was completed between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, Dana obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Communication from California State University, Monterey Bay. Additionally, Dana has an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Education from Hartnell College and a high school diploma in General Ed from North Monterey County High School.

In addition to their formal education, Dana Arvig has obtained two additional certifications. In February 2023, Dana completed the "Preventing Discrimination and Harassment: CA Manager 2022" certification from Traliant. Furthermore, in August 2022, Dana obtained the "Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) U.S.A. Certificate" from AIM Youth Mental Health.
