Dan Furey is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in high-end dining. Currently serving as the Executive Chef at Monterey Peninsula Country Club since January 2017, Dan has previously held positions as Chef at Charlie Palmer Group from 2015 to 2017 and as Executive Chef at Coastal Luxury Management between 2012 and 2015. Early career roles include Chef at Daniel Stern Restaurants and Sous Chef/Cook at Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants. Dan began culinary training at the Renaissance Hotel as a Lead Cook from 2002 to 2005. Educated at the New England Culinary Institute, Dan earned an Associate's degree in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management/Manager between 2000 and 2002.
