Nicola Shangrow Reilly

Nicola Reilly is an experienced leader in the arts and fundraising sectors, currently serving as President and CEO of Monterey Symphony since October 2016. In addition to this role, Nicola holds the position of President at the Association of Fundraising Professionals Monterey Bay Chapter since December 2017 and has served as a Special Consultant at California State University, Monterey Bay from September 2022 to May 2023. Nicola's board membership experience includes significant contributions to the Association of California Symphony Orchestras and One Found Sound. Previously, Nicola has held various leadership roles including Director of Development and Marketing at Carmel Bach Festival, Director of Development for the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at California State University, Monterey Bay, and marketing leadership at the Seattle Chamber Music Society. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature and Music History from the University of Puget Sound and additional studies at the University of Washington.
