Andrew Abouchar

Andrew Abouchar has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Andrew is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Montfort, a family of specialized private credit brands. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Montfort Capital, where they played a key role in opening up new investment opportunities in the private credit space.

Before joining Montfort, Abouchar was the President of TCP Property Inc., a private real estate fund focused on urban intensification projects. Andrew founded the company and was responsible for sourcing and assembling projects, managing the environmental remediation process, and arranging project financing.

Abouchar also served as the Chief Credit Officer at TIMIA Capital Corporation, a specialty finance company providing revenue financing to technology companies. In this role, they developed and implemented alternative financing options that allowed entrepreneurs to retain control of their businesses.

In addition, Abouchar co-founded Tech Capital Partners Inc., a venture capital management company based in Waterloo. Andrew successfully raised one of the largest pools of early-stage institutional venture capital in Canada and was responsible for fund strategy development and execution.

Abouchar began their career as an Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand and later worked as an Investment Manager at Working Ventures, sourcing and managing private equity investments.
