Diego Ojeda Iturriaga

Diego Ojeda Iturriaga is an experienced civil hydraulic engineer and hydrologist with a comprehensive background in the field of hydrology and water resource management. Currently serving as Líder área de Hidrología at Montgomery & Associates since November 2017, Diego leads a hydrology team and specializes in conceptual and numerical hydrogeological modeling, lithium resource estimation, hydrological modeling and analysis, water availability assessment, and the use of GIS and remote sensing technology. Previously, Diego worked as a civil hydraulic engineer in various consulting roles, providing expertise on water resource issues and collaborating with notable firms including Acciona and Ausenco. Earlier positions include project coordination at EDIC Ingenieros S.A. and engineering roles with Conic-BF Ingenieros and CMN, focusing on hydraulic design for hydropower projects and mining water management. Diego Ojeda Iturriaga holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in hydraulic, sanitary, and environmental engineering from Universidad de Chile, along with experience in teaching.
