Pete Dennehy, PG, CHG, is an experienced hydrogeologist with a strong focus on sustainable water resource management in California. Currently serving as a hydrogeologist at Montgomery & Associates since April 2020, Pete develops groundwater sustainability plans under the California Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). Prior experience includes roles at Geosyntec Consultants, where responsibilities involved environmental site assessments and groundwater modeling, and as a hydrology master's student at UC Davis, focusing on groundwater remediation techniques. Educationally, Pete holds a Master's Degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Bates College. Additional experience includes internships and positions in environmental engineering, invasive species management, and research assistance across various organizations and academic institutions.
