Lcsw-C Laney McHarry

Laney McHarry, LCSW-C, has extensive experience in clinical social work, currently serving as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Montgomery Hospice since 2004, where collaboration with a multidisciplinary team provides supportive counseling and resources for hospice patients and their families in Montgomery County, Maryland. Prior to this role, Laney worked at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York from 1990 to 2003, delivering supportive counseling to patients with AIDS and their families in Manhattan. Laney holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Columbia University, a Master’s Degree in Religion and Psychology from Union Theological Seminary, a Bachelor’s Degree in American History and Literature from Barnard College, and completed high school at Friends Seminary with a focus on History.
