Toomas Talviste

Toomas Talviste has over 10 years of experience in software engineering and development. Toomas started their career as a military service personnel in the Estonian Defence Forces. Toomas worked as a .NET developer in FCB Inferno and FCR Tech OÜ before becoming a Lead .NET Developer in Finestmedia Ltd. Toomas played a key role in developing and designing government-level systems, providing coaching to the team and assisting in setting personal and professional goals, and architecting new government and private systems. Toomas then worked as a Full Stack Product Engineer in Change Finance and as a Senior Java Developer in Xolo, where they helped improve user engagement and growth and developed both front-end and back-end services. Later, they moved on to Sentinel as a Full Stack Product Engineer, where they aimed to become the trust layer for the internet, verify the critical information supply chain, and protect people from information warfare. Toomas was then employed as a Senior Full Stack Product Engineer in NFTPort and helped build a user-friendly NFT infrastructure and APIs, aiming to make the internet more accessible as an open protocol. Currently, they work as a Software Engineer at Montonio.

Toomas Talviste attended Miina Härma Gümnaasium from 2005-2008, where they completed their secondary education. Toomas then went on to study IT Systems Development at the Estonian Information Technology College from 2008-2014, earning a bachelor's degree. In 2015, they enrolled at Tallinna Tehnikaülikool, pursuing a Master of Science degree in Applied Computer Science. Toomas has also obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified Professional, Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications, Programming in C#, and MCSA: Web Applications from Microsoft. Toomas also earned an End-to-End Machine Learning with TensorFlow on GCP certificate from Google Cloud - Minnesota in 2021.
