Dan Mahavithana

Dan Mahavithana is a skilled software engineer with a diverse technical background, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Montoux since August 2022, focusing on technologies such as NodeJS, TypeScript, React, and AWS. Prior to this role, Dan worked at Fingermark as a Software Developer, where expertise in JavaScript, React, and AWS was developed, and at NZ Digital as an Intermediate Software Developer, contributing to projects using React, GraphQL, and MongoDB. Early career experience includes positions at Castlenet web design and development, Bileeta, and the University of Peradeniya, where Dan gained solid foundational skills in PHP, MySQL, and various web technologies, along with mentoring junior developers. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Peradeniya and has completed a Higher Diploma in Computer Science from Infortec International.
