Johan Garzon

Johan Garzon has had a long and varied career in the field of Business Intelligence. From 2010 to 2014, they were the President of the 760 IIE Chapter at the Institute of Industrial Engineers. In 2014, they worked at L'Oréal as a Market Supply and Logistics professional, where they improved and deployed reporting from the International MSL and managed data and processes for the API department. Johan then moved to foodpanda | hellofood as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they were responsible for integrating the databases of over 10 different acquired companies into the core Business Intelligence structure. In 2016, they joined Montredo GmbH as their CTO, where they designed and carried out a full backend and Business Intelligence system migration, designed and developed cloud-based tools to improve existing processes, and improved monolithic systems into a containerized infrastructure. Johan also served as Head of Business Intelligence, where they coordinated with management new strategies to increase revenue through data informed decisions and supported each department's productivity through the development of tools and insights. Finally, they were the Business Intelligence Manager, where they developed an automated Business Intelligence system, designed and contributed to the development of an internal ERP system, and integrated existing processes and data sources into the Business Intelligence system.

Johan Garzon has a background in Industrial Engineering. Johan obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito in 2007-2011 and a degree in Industrial engineering from the Université de Technologie de Troyes in 2011-2014. In 2020, they completed a Data Streaming Nanodegree from Udacity in the field of Data Processing.
