John Hertenberger has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. John began their career as a Marketing Intern at Deloitte & Touche in 2008. John then worked as a Senior Account Manager at eCarList, LLC, a Dallas-based automotive startup focused on inventory management and marketing syndication.
In 2011, John joined DealerTrack as a Product Manager for the Inventory Solutions business unit, where they were responsible for bug fixes and new development work, collaborating with clients and third parties to improve the products. After that, they worked at Charity Network as a Technical Product Manager, leading the team's agile adoption and the launch of the Android platform for their interactive charity broadcast network.
John's next role was as a Product Manager at OrderMyGear, a company specializing in apparel orders for team sports and groups. John played a critical role in driving significant volume growth and owned the product roadmap, working closely with the CEO.
In 2016, John joined LTK (formerly rewardStyle & LIKEtoKNOW.it) as a Senior Product Manager, contributing to the company's success in the fashion industry. John then moved on to OMG, where they held various roles, including Director of Service & Support, Director of Product Management, and eventually Senior Director of Product Management.
Currently, John holds the position of VP of Product at Monument, starting in 2023. Overall, John Hertenberger's experience showcases their expertise in product management, technical product development, and team leadership across different industries.
John Hertenberger obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Marketing from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In April 2012, they also obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance.
