Mark Van Der Stel

Mark Vander Stel is a seasoned DevOps professional with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Monumental since December 2022, Mark previously held the same title at Copadο, where expertise in DevOps best practices was provided, along with the design and implementation of AWS sandbox infrastructure. At Service Express, Mark excelled as a Lead DevOps Engineer, focusing on building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and developing GitLab pipelines for microservices. Earlier roles included a DevOps Software Engineer at Gordon Food Service, where Mark automated infrastructure deployment on Google Cloud Platform, and a Java Software Engineer at Progressive Surface, Inc. Mark holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Calvin University, earned between 2012 and 2016.
