Franz Becker

Franz Becker is a Senior Backend Engineer at Monzo Bank since April 2020, focusing on building innovative banking solutions. Previously, Franz worked at itemis from August 2013 to November 2019, serving as a Backend Engineer and then as a Senior Software Engineer, co-founding the web engineering team and successfully managing customer projects. Early career experiences include roles as a Tool Developer at Smart Mobile Factory, Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IESE, Software Engineer Intern at Siemens Technology India, and various academic positions during undergraduate studies. Franz holds an M.Sc. in IT-Systems-Engineering from Hasso Plattner Institute and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.
