Katie Brown

Katie Brown (Gormley) has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Katie started their career at Explore Learning, where they worked as an Assistant Director and later as a Centre Director from October 2012 to May 2014. Afterward, they took a break to travel across Central and South America.

Upon their return, Katie joined Give A Grad A Go as a Digital & Creative Consultant, helping Creative & Digital agencies hire junior talent from October 2014 to March 2015. Katie then moved on to World First, where they served as a Talent Acquisition Advisor and later as a Talent Acquisition and Development Advisor in the EMEA region from March 2015 to June 2017.

In June 2017, Katie transitioned to Capco, a global consultancy firm focused on the financial services industry. As a Recruitment Business Partner, they specialized in hiring for the Digital practice, focusing on Proposition/Business Designers, UX/UI Designers, and Product professionals until August 2018.

Katie's next career move took their to Monzo Bank, where they held several roles. Initially, they worked as a Senior Recruiter, focusing on executive and strategic search from August 2018 to August 2020. Katie then took on the role of Talent Partner, Engineering, responsible for Engineering Leadership hiring until March 2021. Currently, Katie serves as the Head of Business Recruitment at Monzo, leading a team of recruiters and coordinators for all non-Tech roles.

Throughout their career, Katie has gained experience in talent acquisition, recruitment strategy, and team management in various sectors, including finance, consultancy, and technology.
