Richard Evetts

Richard Evetts has a solid work experience in the legal field. Richard is currently working as the Head of Legal UK at Monzo Bank since September 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at Bink, including Chief Operating Officer from January 2019 to September 2021, and General Counsel from January 2018 to January 2019. Richard also worked as a Legal Director at Addleshaw Goddard from January 2017 to January 2018. Previously, they were the Head of Legal, Consumer Card (International / Europe / UK) at American Express from March 2011 to December 2016. Richard also worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at Barclaycard from June 2008 to February 2011, and as a Legal Counsel at Goldfish from 2007 to 2008. Their earlier experience includes working as a Legal Counsel, Vice President at Morgan Stanley from January 2002 to May 2007, and as a Solicitor at Hogan Lovells from September 1998 to December 2001.

Richard Evetts completed their undergraduate education at the University of Oxford from 1992 to 1996, earning an M.A. (Hons) degree in Jurisprudence. Richard furthered their education at the College of Law from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a Legal Practice Course. In 2000 to 2001, Richard pursued a Post Grad Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice at the University of Bristol.
