David J S. has a long and varied work experience. Since 1997, they have held various roles at The AA (Ireland), including Pensions Trustee Director, Manager Product, Interim Quality & Compliance Manager, Team Manager Business Improvement, Business Improvement Specialist, Insurance Market Analyst, and Research & Development Assistant. In 2013, they were a Project Consultant at OSG Group. From 2014 to 2017, they were Head of General Insurance, Head of Renewals, and Head of Product & Pricing at Chill Insurance. From 2017 to 2018, they were Head of Consumer at FBD Insurance. During 2018, they held three roles at St Francis Animal Dispensary as Trustee & Committee Member, Chairperson, and Trustee Director (Voluntary). David J also held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Moocall during 2018. In 2020, they became a Director at ISPCA.

David J S. began their educational journey in 1995, when they received a PLC in Business Administration & I.T. from St Davids CBS. In 1998, they completed various training with AA. In 2000, they received a Diploma in Website Design from Dublin Business School. David J then received a Diploma in Project Management from Dublin Business School in 2006 and a Certificate in Compliance from ACOI in 2004-2005. In 2011-2013, they earned a Certificate in Trustee Essentials Training from I.A.P.F. 2011 & 2013. David J also completed Internal AA Training - SAGA Trainer for Personal Development in 2012, as well as Lean Sigma Six. In 2015-2016, they completed a course with the Insurance Institute of Ireland. Finally, in 2020, they earned a Certificate of Completion in Trustee Training - Governance from Boardmatch.
