Samir Touat

Samir Touat has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Samir started their career at Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers (CNAM - Paris) as a Research Engineer, where they focused on developing 3G/UMTS radio access models. Samir then joined SFR as a Consultant, leading network performance analysis and driving improvements to the mobile network infrastructure.

After that, Samir moved to Nortel Networks, where they held various roles including Senior Network Design Engineer and Senior Technical Account Manager. Samir was responsible for delivering professional services for wireless network rollout and introducing new technologies in collaboration with T-Mobile.

Samir then joined Genband as a Senior Manager, where they played a crucial role in post-merger integration and operational improvement initiatives. Later, they worked at Hult International Business School to strengthen their business acumen through an MBA program.

Their most recent role was at Mood Media, where they served as the Executive Director of Corporate Restructuring and Integration. In this position, Samir played a key role in creating emotional connections between brands and consumers through innovative solutions.

Throughout their career, Samir has demonstrated expertise in corporate restructuring, business strategy, operational improvement, and leadership. Samir has worked with organizations of all sizes, from small businesses to multinational corporations, and has a proven track record of delivering high-performance results.

Samir Touat has an extensive education history. Samir obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronic & Computer Engineering from Ecole Nationale Polytechnique in 1993. Samir then pursued a Masters in Robotics from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 1994. In 1995, they completed another Masters degree in Telecommunications Systems from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée. Later, they attended Hult International Business School and earned an Executive MBA in 2014, specializing in various fields such as Finance, Operation, Strategy, Leadership, and Innovation. In addition to their formal education, Samir has also obtained several certifications, including Developing Business Acumen and Transformational Leadership from LinkedIn, and a Certificate in Global Leadership from Hult International Business School. Samir has also completed the ITIL V3 Foundation certification in IT Service Management from BCS. Additionally, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and was a participant in the Leadership Academy offered by Nortel Networks in 2003.
