Amaia Anabitarte

Amaia Anabitarte has a wide range of work experience, starting in 1998 with roles as a Trainer at both CEINPRO and FOREM. In 2000, they worked as a Software Engineer and Web Developer for IBAI SISTEMAS S.A., where they developed the Vitoria-Gasteiz local government Web Portal and Intranet Web. Amaia then moved on to INIKER Software S.A. in 2001, working as a Software Engineer and Developer.

From 2004 to 2007, Amaia worked at SIC as a Software Engineer and J2EE Developer. In 2007, they became the Web Manager for Euskadi.net, the Basque Government Web Service at OMA department.

Starting in 2015, Amaia worked at Kaplan International English as a Moodle Developer. Amaia'sresponsibilities included requirements and specifications definition, new plugins development, maintenance of existing plugins, data model design, and back-end and front-end development.

In 2017, they joined AVADO as a PHP Moodle Senior Developer before transitioning to Moodle in 2018 as an Open-source Analyst Developer. Additionally, Amaia founded their own company, Berrituz Servicios Informáticos S.L., in 2008, where they served as the Company Founder and CEO and worked as a Web Engineer and Developer.

Amaia Anabitarte obtained their degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, where they studied from 1995 to 2001. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications in Agile Product Owner Role: Techniques from LinkedIn in January 2023, and SCRUM: Roles from LinkedIn in December 2022.
