Akshay Singhal began their career in 2013 as a Project Trainee at CDAC, Noida, where they researched on conditional access system and designed a new cryptographic technique to secure control word at user's end. In 2014, they served as an Intern at MyGov India and a Project Trainee at National Informatics Center. Akshay also served as CEO of Digital Development Research and Archiving, where they worked to solve a crisis faced by them in what and how to preserve digital data and keep it authentic. In 2016, they served as a Cyber Security Intern at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and as a Cyber Security Consultant and Officer on Special Duty at the National Technical Research Organisation. In 2020, they joined Moonfrog Labs as a Senior Software Engineer II, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer - II. Akshay also joined OSAAS as Chief Executive Officer, where they led and participated in development of various cyber security related products and collaborated with other companies to provide complete solutions to customers. Akshay also introduced one of a kind software products in the market like O-Deter, a remote audit software to implement network-wide security policies, and developed their own web-based exploitation framework to solve issues in COTS frameworks.
Akshay Singhal completed their Bachelor of Science (BS)-Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2016. Prior to this, they obtained an aissce from D.A.V. Public School, Kurukshetra in 2011, which included studies in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from CutShort and HackerRank in 2020, including Python - Advanced from CutShort, and Problem Solving (Basic) and Problem Solving (Intermediate) from HackerRank.
