Thom Hook

Thomas Hook, J.D., CAMS, serves as the Global Chief Compliance Officer and U.S. Chief Compliance Officer at MoonPay since July 2023. In addition, Thomas is an Adjunct Professor at Boston University School of Law, teaching courses on Crypto Regulation/Taxation and Payment Systems. Previously, Thomas held the position of Chief Compliance Officer at Bitstamp from May 2021 to July 2023 and Vice President of Risk & Compliance at BlueSnap before that. Thomas has extensive experience in risk and compliance roles across several organizations, including Circle, Pegasystems, KPMG, American Express, and the New York County District Attorney's Office. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College.
