Lcmhc Ellen M. Moran

Ellen M. Moran, LCMHC, is an experienced clinical therapist currently employed at The Moore Center since September 2014, where trauma-informed care is provided to individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities. Ellen has a strong background in case management and advocacy, utilizing modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR. Previous roles include clinical therapist at North American Family Institute, Inc., supporting adolescents and families involved with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, and crisis service advocate at YWCA of New Hampshire, assisting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Ellen also held positions as a recovery coach and store manager earlier in their career. Educationally, Ellen holds a Master's degree in Human Services with a focus on Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services with a concentration in Addiction Studies from the same institution.
