Pierre Plantard

Pierre Plantard is an accomplished founder of MOOVENCY since November 2018, specializing in innovative ergonomic solutions. Prior experience includes serving as Maturation Engineer at Ouest Valorisation SATT, where Pierre led the KIMEA project, enhancing worker ergonomics through motion capture technology. Pierre contributed as a Research Engineer at Inria, focusing on biomechanical analysis of fencing, and held a similar role at Université de Rennes 2, developing virtual reality demos and gesture recognition systems. As a PhD student at Faurecia, Pierre's research centered on workplace motion capture and associated health risks. Pierre also taught biomechanics and ergonomics at Université de Rennes 2 for both BS and MS programs. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biomechanics from Université Rennes 2 and two Master's degrees from Université Rennes I and Université Rennes 2.
