Birgit Aaronaes has extensive experience in marine and environmental governance, currently serving as the Head of Marine and Environment & International Collaboration at Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune since May 2012. Prior to this role, Birgit Aaronaes worked at the Norwegian Seafood Council as an Adviser for Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Law, and also held the position of Director for Italy.
