Emmanuel Onifade has a strong background in academia and accounting. Emmanuel began their career in 1981 as an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Accounting Department at Hampton University. Emmanuel then moved on to South Carolina State University in 1985, where they served as an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Accounting Department until 1994. From 1994 onwards, they worked at Morehouse College as a Professor and Director of the Accounting Program.
Emmanuel Onifade completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business in 1977. Emmanuel then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business, which they successfully obtained in 1993.
