Peter Decoo began their work experience as a Project Engineer at Champion Motor Graders in 1994. From there, they moved up to Engineering Manager and later became the Vice President of Engineering at the SuperPac Division of Volvo Construction Equipment. Peter then took on the role of Vice President Research & Development in the Cabs Division at Volvo Construction Equipment. In 2008, they became the Engineering Director at Volvo Penta of the Americas before transitioning into the role of Global Engineering Director for Cabs and Operator's Environments at Volvo Construction Equipment. In this position, they led a global team of engineers and was responsible for various aspects of product development. In 2015, Peter joined Crenlo as the VP of Engineering and Program Management, where they worked until their recent appointment as Vice President of Engineering at Morgan Olson in 2020.
Peter Decoo attended Lakehead University from 1991 to 1993. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering - BS in Mechanical Engineering.
