Susan Huang

Susie Huang is a Vice Chairman, Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, based in New York. She is a member of Morgan Stanley’s Operating and Management Committees. Susie joined Morgan Stanley in 1984-86 as a financial analyst. After earning a JD/MBA, she rejoined in 1990 as an Associate in the M&A Department. She worked in the Firm’s Hong Kong office in 1993-94, and was named Managing Director in 1999. Susie has worked on a number of notable transactions, including: the sale of Mead Johnson to Reckitt Benckiser; the combination of GE’s Oil and Gas business with Baker Hughes; Mars’ acquisition of VCA and Kind; the combination of Linde and Praxair; GE’s acquisition of Arcam; the sale of Stemcentrx to Abbvie; the sale of Cubist to Merck; the sale of Pharmasset to Gilead; and Wyeth’s sale to Pfizer. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Lincoln Center and the President’s Leadership Council at Dartmouth College. Susie earned an AB in History from Dartmouth College in 1984 and a JD and MBA from Columbia University in 1990.
