Lucy Mercer

Lucy Mercer is an experienced educator currently serving as the Head of Humanities and Lead Teacher of History at Morna International College since September 2023. Previously, Lucy held various roles at The UCL Academy from August 2019 to September 2023, including Head of Humanities and Head of Religious Studies and Philosophy, where efforts focused on raising attainment and supporting student learning during the pandemic. Lucy began their teaching career with Teach First at Fullhurst Community College, specializing in History, Geography, and Religious Education. Additional experiences include an internship at the British Film Institute, where creative educational resources were developed, and managerial roles in the hospitality sector. Lucy holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Queen Mary University of London and studied abroad at the University of Copenhagen.
