Kirk Kaltenbronn

Kirk Kaltenbronn is a seasoned tax professional with over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles. As the Director of Tax at Morningstar, Inc. since April 2007, Kirk focuses on enhancing shareholder value through strategic financial planning for a major investment research firm. Previous experience includes serving as Tax Manager at Sun-Times Media Group, where Kirk established an in-house tax department and collaborated with senior executives on restructuring strategies, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, overseeing corporate tax planning and advisory services. Kirk also served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and master's and bachelor's degrees in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
