Wenliang He

Wenliang Wenliang possesses extensive experience in data science and academia. Currently serving as a Manager of Data Science at Morningstar since February 2019, Wenliang leads a team focused on applied NLP and image processing projects. Previous roles include Assistant Professor at Zhejiang Normal University, where Wenliang explored effective teaching strategies in STEM education, and Quantitative Research Scientist at Facebook, contributing to machine learning and NLP projects. Additional experience includes an Insight Data Science Fellowship, roles at UC Irvine as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant, and English instruction positions in China. Wenliang holds multiple advanced degrees from UC Irvine, including a PhD in Education and an MS in Statistics, along with a Master of Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering from Beijing University of Technology.
