Kris Salmon is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the tribal and non-profit sectors. Serving as Chief Financial Officer for the Morongo Band of Mission Indians since August 2018, Kris has previously held CFO positions at the LA Jolla Band of Luiseno Indians and the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation, where responsibilities included managing governmental finance operations, investments, risk management, and events. Additionally, Kris worked as the Director of Finance for SPIPA, focusing on non-profit accounting and grant management, and held a similar position at Saint Martin's University overseeing accounting, IT, and student accounts divisions. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the UW Foster School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Washington.
